Asus PadFone: The New Phone-Tablet Combination

| On 02, Apr 2012

Asus PadFone, an all new innovative product that will be introduced by Asus is expected to arrive anytime this month of April. This new device was just launched in the recently concluded Mobile World Congress 2012 but even before the said event it already has a huge amount of fans. Why? Simply because the PadFone is a phone which can be converted into a 10.1 inch tablet form through combining it with the chassis. It is elegantly placed just at the back of the tablet and it serves as the host to run the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in it.

This is a new idea that would should definitely create a buzz in the Android industry since the Samsung Galaxy Note’s attempt to combine a smartphone and a tablet in one packaging. However, this offering from Asus sure looks more promising because you can easily carry the phone with you every time and you don’t have to worry about carrying a bulky handset. Moreover, you will have the privilege when and where you would want to use it as a fully functional tablet.

Here are the quick specifications of the Asus PadFone:

For people who wants to own an android phone and a tablet, this device will absolutely be a great buy with its given specs that is fast enough for your everyday needs. There is still no official statement on the approximated price of this gadget but I believe it will be around $800 because it is a pioneer in its category.
