Woah, we never expected to see this one. Cherry Mobile just announced a new android phone aptly called as the Cherry Mobile Blaze. There are already several android phones up on their sleeves right now and while we thought that the Skyfire was their final release before the year ends, they just posted this one on their official Facebook page.

The Cherry Mobile Blaze‘s main feature would be its 8-megapixel main camera with LED flash which edges out other CM heavyweights such as the Cherry Mobile Titan and the Cherry Mobile Flare. Taking it down further will reveal that it will also have the dual-core 1GHz processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board. Even though there is no mention of RAM, we can safely say that it’ll be 512MB. Or better yet, 768MB.

Meanwhile, there are other significant factors that are missing for now which includes the battery capacity and display quality (if it’s IPS or not). Other than those two, we should already know what to expect on the Cherry Mobile Blaze. Of course, the ever-reliable Dual-SIM / Dual Standby aspect is here as well. In terms of looks, the front is dominated by the 4.7-inch display with FWVGA resolution and it also resembles the stylish android handsets from the Galaxy series. It’s not a bad thing but I prefer to lean against that because it’s better to have their own identity. Still, a great looking design for a smartphone.

We still don’t have the complete specs of Cherry Mobile Blaze but expect that we will post an update once we get it. The Cherry Mobile Blaze price is only Php6,499 (same as the Titan) but the availability is still unknown.
