Cherry Mobile finally revealed the most awaited Jelly Bean update of the dual-core ng bayan or commonly known as the Cherry Mobile Flare. We’ve reported this almost a month ago and it’s nice to see that CM is already prepared in releasing it despite the long delay.
There is still no concrete information if it will be Android 4.1 or 4.2, but we believe that it’s 4.1 as a differentiation on their newer products. However, it’s only our guess so it’s best to just wait and see.
According to the status update posted on Cherry Mobile’s official Facebook page, the Jelly Bean update of the Flare should be available starting June 1 on ALL Cherry Mobile Service centers NATIONWIDE. Well, I hope they will keep their word for it so that all users can upgrade their device immediately.

The update is not available OTA so in case you don’t have a service center near you, you need to wait for some users to create a flashable JB ROM which you can use. However, that requires some advance knowledge and you have to be careful when taking such actions.
What do you need to get the update? Cherry Mobile said that customers should bring their official receipt and warranty card to validate the purchase.
For those who are excited, don’t forget to back up all your data as it can get wiped out when upgrading.

what should i do if my branded flare which s 6 days old always hung whenever i use some applications.?
kabibili ko lang kahapon ng flare 8-4-2013. naka jellybean na. sabi ng clerk ang disadvantage ung rear camera. dumilim. unlike sa ICS malinaw. un sabi nila. BTW may FM radio na ung flare ko. HTH :)

pano kung walang warranty or official reciept ..
meron na rin bang available na upgraded jb flare.. or i’ll juts have to wait for flare 2.0
