Another Cherry Mobile Tablet aptly called as the Cherry Mobile Fusion Wind was on its way to the market. If 7-inches is too small for you, then I guess the 8-inches would be just perfect. Check out more details after the jump.

While we currently know the “Fusion” line of Cherry Mobile to be quad-cores, this time we’ll be greeted by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor which isn’t that bad either. We’re not sure what processor it is, but I’m hoping that it’s something that’s used in Pipo tablets as they are speedy enough in most tasks and I liked them a lot (the performance).

It comes with 1GB of RAM and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for efficient and smoother multitasking. The internal storage is rather limited at 4GB unlike the Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt which came with 8GB of built in storage. The Fusion Bolt got a decent review from us, and I hope that this follow up would continue to give decent performance. On the other hand, the Cherry Mobile Fusion Fire has more with 16GB.

With all that differences, it doesn’t mean that Cherry Mobile Fusion Wind is a bad deal. In fact, Cherry Mobile decided to bundle this tablet with a Cherry Mobile MF1 – a portable mifi that you can bring along with you anywhere and anytime giving you internet access on the go. However, you need to pay for mobile internet charges so it’s best to subscribe to unlimited packages.

The information on the specs are quite scarce for now but we’ll definitely update this post once they come out. But as far as the basics go, we’re okay with it especially because of its very low Php5,999 price tag plus the free CM MF1 which costs Php1,999. According to the poster, the promo duration is from June 7-9 only. After that, they will probably reveal the original SRP.

It looks like an iPad Mini alternative for those who are tight on budget. Are you guys interested in buying the Cherry Mobile Fusion Wind? Let us know in the comments!

  1. sa aking experience sa cm fusion wind medjo okay lang ang lahat, pero ang ROM niya ay hindi 4GB pero 1 GB

  2. Pipo tablets are the best, you can have the U1 PRO for as little as Php 6K and it beats the Nexus 7 in most aspects…including features and benchmarks
