The Samsung Galaxy S4 was finally launched in the Philippines yesterday and I bet some folks went home with a smile on their face – sporting a new shiny Galaxy S4. Now, in case you’re interested in finding out if the build of the S4 tops the iPhone 5, then you might want to watch this video.

The folks at Android Authority were one of the first few who attempted to hurt Samsung’s 2013 flagship phone and just like what they did on the HTC One vs iPhone 5 drop test video, they let the android flagship take the iPhone 5 one on one in a fierce drop test battle. I’m a curious, though – why do they have that much iPhone 5s?

Galaxy S4 vs iPhone 5 Drop Test Video

As much as they’ve tried to simulate real-world accidents, there will always be flaws. The fall of the device for one, can’t be easily controlled so there are instances that people will react that they are not dropped equally. A slightly ugly form of drop may substantially affect the outcome, and that’s for people to decide if they think that it just go unlucky.

Now, which will you go for? Galaxy S4 or iPhone 5? Go on and watch the video above and see for yourself. Let us know what you think about the result by posting it in the comments below.

  1. if look you closely at some video’s later than this, you’ll notice some bias, the camera somehow pans away when samsung galaxy is being focused, then the iphone being zoomed in, it’s like their trying to cover the flaws of the device (samsung), much worse they torture iphone in their concluding test, now there’s always a difference between apple and samsung, android fan boys out there.

  2. just plain BS…
    unscientific…
you can just go to any engineering university that has a stress test machine and let the two phone undergo a equally precise stress test.
and dont tell me you have to pay for the test bec. most universities would be more willing and happy to see something break, of course in a good way, it’s science!!!
