If you guys have been following Sony for the last few months, you’ve probably heard of the Honami. There have been quite a few  unofficial leaks of the Honami in past days, but it appears as if Sony has decided to take things into their own hands by leaking their own images of what is now being called the Sony Xperia Z1.

Whatever it is, Sony is certainly timing things right for what is expected to be the official reveal at IFA in Berlin on September 4.

The image of interest is that of the Sony Xperia Z1 power button. After all, it features the same iconic design as the rest of the current generation Xperia line. Another thing of interest is the #bestofSony hashtag that Sony used to tweet the image. We can expect this to be a flagship class phone packed with what is supposed to be the best that Sony has to offer.

So what kind of specs will the Xperia Z1 ship with? We already know that it will sport a 20.7mp camera, which is one of the best sensors you can get on a mobile device save for Nokia’s Lumia 1020. The screen will be larger than that of the Xperia ZL but much smaller than the Z Ultra, so expect something in the 5.2-5.7″ range. The rest of the rumored specs include a quad core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, a monstrous 3,000mAh battery, 32GB internal storage, a micro SD slot, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 4G LTE and shatterproof front glass.
