Sony has finally taken the wraps off of its two new mirrorless cameras, the Alpha 7 and 7R. Catering to the professional market, both models tout huge full-frame sensors and a number of interchangeable lenses. They’re remarkably high-end in a form factor that’s smaller than the competition.
As phone manufacturers continue to try and one-up their competition, it appears that the fight has been taken to the imaging side of things. We’ve already seen HTC’s UltraPixel Camera, Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Zoom and the Nokia Lumia 1020, however, it appears that Sony has something in the works that could blow away everything we’ve seen so far.
Sony Philippines launched their two new cameras together last June 21, 2012 in their official headquarters in Taguig City. The cameras were named as Sony NEX-F3 and Sony SLT A-37 respectively and both comes with their own unique features. Both cameras were claimed to “help inexperienced photographers craft top-quality portraits without effort” so if you’re an aspiring photographer, you might be interested in these cameras.
