In case you missed it, the Mi 3 is now on open sale through Lazada Philippines. The best part? They’re keeping the price at Php10,599! In case you guys need to be reminded, you’re getting a 2.3GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage to go along with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box!

If you’re wondering how the Mi 3 is able to come with such great specs while maintaining a crazy-low SRP, it’s because Xiaomi, the company that makes it, makes compromises elsewhere. Labor is obviously cheap because it’s made in China. As for marketing, the actual budget for it is very minimal because they rely almost exclusively on social media and word of mouth.

The Mi 3 had initially launched in the country through a flash sale of 3,000 units, which sold out in about an hour. This was followed by another flash sale of 2,000 units, which reportedly didn’t sell out as quickly. Now though, fans of the Mi 3 don’t have to rely on an itch trigger finger as you can now get it through Lazada, although you’ll have to make do with just the Metallic Gray variant.
