Apple recently released their apology to users because of their failed try in incorporating their own Maps app in iOS 6. The Cupertino company fell short in their recent effort and as a result, here comes their own recommendation of Apple Maps alternatives. Apple is known for their fluidity and refined products and this may be the first time that they have to do this one.

Here’s a short excerpt from the statement made by Apple’s CEO Tim Cook.

While we’re improving Maps, you can try alternatives by downloading map apps from the App Store like Bing, MapQuest and Waze, or use Google or Nokia maps by going to their websites and creating an icon on your home screen to their web app.
