We’re getting closer to seeing the Asus ZenFone 2 become for sale in the Philippines, as Asus has launched the device in Jakarta, Indonesia for the Southeast Asia region. Regional prices have also been revealed.

Four models have been given an official price in rupiah or the Indonesian currency. The most expensive is naturally the best-specced in the group—the ZE551ML with 2.3GHz CPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The cheapest, on the other hand, is the ZE550ML with 1.8GHz CPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. All models sport Intel Atom processors, so it seems we won’t be seeing the Qualcomm and MediaTek variants in the SEA region.
The regional price of the ZE500CL model, which is confirmed for the Philippines, hasn’t been revealed. It’s selling for 4990 TWD in Taiwan though, and that translates to around Php7,100 in today’s exchange.
The Asus ZenFone 2 is expected to launch in the Philippines next month.
