The 128GB variant of the Asus ZenFone 2 has begun selling in Taiwan.

It’s basically the same phone as the 64GB model, except for the obvious doubling of internal storage. That said, it has the same 5.5-inch Full HD display, Intel Atom Z3580 processor, 4GB RAM and 4G LTE connectivity. It further offers a 13MP and 5MP cameras and a 3000mAh battery. We’re in the middle of writing a review of the device, but we were quite impressed with the phone during our unboxing.

The official price in Taiwan for the 128GB Asus ZenFone 2 is NT$11,900, which is around Php17,400 in today’s exchange. In comparison, the 64GB model officially costs Php14,995 in the Philippines.

So far, this ZenFone 2 model remains elusive. Taiwan is the second country to see a launch, right after India (through Flipkart, which still lists the device as “coming soon”). As for a Philippine launch, there’s still no information available.
