As the company’s cheapest quad-core offering, the Cherry Mobile Life 2.0 is a 4-inch smartphone with 3G connectivity. It’s the sequel to what we called as “the little phone that could“, and thus offers a better rear camera and a predictably faster performance. For Php3,299, it comes with a free Android keychain.

Yet another addition to the Flare family is the Cherry Mobile Flare S2. Sporting a “premium curve design,” it makes use of a Sony IMX 179 sensor for its back-illuminated rear camera. For Php4,699, this 4.5-inch smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and is dual SIM capable.

  1. i bought this FLARE S2 last saturday 5/24/14 at 8:00 pm and tested it in all aspects and it is ok but when i tried to use the launcher applications (eg:go launcher/nova launcher) and tried to set it as a default.. the phone wont let me because it does not have an option to choose a default launcher… i had already escalated this to the cherry mobile center in sm dasma on sunday morning and they said it was for REFORMAT and i agreed to it but when i claimed it yesterday.. nothing has changed… THEY SAID THAT IT WAS FOR SYSTEM UPDATE BUT WHY AM I THE ONE EXPERIENCING THIS ?? my friend’s default launcher option for flare s2 is working and mine was not and THEY ARE GIVING ME THAT EXCUSE? WOW… MY PHONE WAS STILL UNDER 7 DAYS REPLACEMENT AND THEY EVEN DIDNT EVEN WANT TO REPLACE IT? THAT WAS A FACTORY DEFECT!
    Issue: home button doesnt have default launcher option.
    They said that it was a system issue for all cherry flare S2 Not having Default launcher options when you press the home button…

    1. try to reset your app preferences go to APPS then click the recent button, and then try to reboot or restart your phone then it will be okay you can now choose the launcher you want. i hope it can help you. :)
