There are a couple of things that bug me about the product images (obtained from DTC Mobile’s Facebook page), though. Save for some minor differences, this entry-level smartphone awfully looks like the Samsung Galaxy S4. And if you look closely at the rear view of the black variant, there’s some washed-out portion where a “Samsung” label would be usually positioned if this device were from that company. Also, apparently the capacitive buttons aren’t sufficient enough that there have to be on-screen buttons as well.

The DTC GT18 Sparkle is now available in all accredited stores nationwide. Available in black and white color variants, the phone’s SRP is Php5,290. For a more capable phone from this brand, the DTC GT15 Fiesta offers a quad-core processor and better camera sensors for Php8,888.
