Lenovo has expanded its Vibe smartphone lineup with two new devices. The Lenovo Vibe X2 is a high-end handset with a unique tri-layered design, and the Lenovo Vibe Z2 is aimed at selfie addicts with its 8-megapixel front camera.

Pictured above, the Lenovo Vibe X2 packs a 5-inch IPS display with 1080p resolution, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. It’s one of the first to use MediaTek’s powerful octa-core MT6595 processor (the same CPU found in the recently unveiled Meizu MX4). Similar to Project Ara, the Vibe X2 can have hardware modules or extensions attached to its back for added functionality.
