Remember when we said that the Philippines would adopt the Japanese digital TV standard, the ISDB-T? The time has come, and some companies are already taking advantage of the technology. For instance, Starmobile has announced a new smartphone, the Starmobile Knight Vision, which offers a built-in digital TV receiver using ISDB-T.
In other words, the Starmobile Knight Vision is a capable mobile television device, and its ISDB-T support guarantees better quality versus other phones with the older analog TV receivers. Several channels can be viewed for free, such as ABS-CBN, GMA, ETC, and TV5.
