ZTE’s best smartphone so far—the Axon Elite—is scheduled to launch here in the Philippine “in the coming months.”

As expected from a high-end smartphone, the ZTE Axon Elite boasts some of the best hardware for mobile devices. These include a Snapdragon 810 processor, a dual (13MP + 2MP) camera at the back, 3GB of RAM and 4G LTE connectivity. Furthermore, the handset offers 4K video recording, Hi-Fi sound playback and recording, and a trio of biometric authentication—voice control, eye-scan and fingerprint.

This phone is not to be confused with the ZTE Axon, which launched some months ago in the US. Both share similar specs, but the regular version doesn’t come with a rear fingerprint scanner and a microSD slot.
