Sony is readying its follow-up flagship Xperia smarphone — the Sony Xperia ZR — that isn’t just water resistant, but fully waterproof. With that in mind, you can use its 13-megapixel shooter to take HD photos and videos underwater for up to 5 feet deep for 30 minutes. It’s worth nothing that very few phones can accomplish such feat.
Sony Xperia Z’s arrival was a great surprise. Its early release and impressive specifications proved Sony was not yet out of the race and aims to climb back to the top. With its early release, problems did arise which are apparent in the phone’s above average battery life, poor viewing angles, and lackluster innovative touch.
2012 has been a quiet year for Sony. While they continuously released phones last year, they did not quite attract the attention of the market mainly because a lot of their releases were not at par with those from other brands.
Sony didn’t really have the chance to give the Galaxy S3 and HTC One X a good fight last year. This time around, they’re looking to take some attention away from the top players by releasing better engineered products. Sony has made a habit of using every letter in the alphabet and the ‘Z’ is probably one of their last cards from the Xperia deck if they’re hoping to make a difference this year. Can the Xperia Z take them to the top of the android war? Check out our full review after the break.
Sony just added a new android phone on their Xperia Series for budget conscious consumers who want to have a taste of the latest Android OS, the Sony Xperia E. It will come in two variants: a single SIM and a “Xperia Edual” mode SIMs. Check out more details after the jump.
Sony has another android phone coming in the Philippines this month. Sony Xperia Miro, a mid-range level smartphone that’s just above the Xperia Tipo, is almost identical to the latter but it has some slightly improved specs. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that you would expect from a mid-range phone instead it only has limited features.
The follow-up to the Sony Xperia Ion as the new flagship phone of Sony is now official. Meet the Sony Xperia T. This device was made public two days ago during the IFA event in Berlin. It was announced along with other Xperia handsets. We will feature them later on. Check out the Xperia T details below.
Sony just announced their second tablet called as Sony Xperia Tablet S. This new tablet inherits its predecessor’s screen resolution of 1280×800 and is housed in a 9.4-inch display. Announced way back in June, the Sony Xperia Tipo single and dual-sim variant will be available in the Philippines next month. The Xperia Tipo is set to hit the entry-level android race but it may have some problems getting attention as it is priced relatively higher than its competition. However, given Sony’s great build and durability, it may be enough to cover the price.
Sony Xperia SL appeared on Sony’s website with a tag of “coming soon” which simply means another Xperia player will arrive later this year. The Xperia SL really don’t have something new with it as it is more of a Xperia S clone but with an added speed of 200MHz and an Android 4.0 OS upgrade.
An awesome android phone that’s scratch, dust, drop, and water proof comes to the Philippines. Sony Xperia Go, the much anticipated follow-up to Sony Xperia Active takes on the world with its made to resist quality. The “made to resist” slug was initially made by Sony Mobile to create the impression of a durable but capable android phone. Xperia Go is perfect for people who usually go on travels and adventures so they won’t have to worry about breaking their phone – at least for the above mentioned features.

The reason, is that it only sports a dual-core processor wherein its competition already possess a quad-core chip. However, being the top of the line Xperia device, this android surely has lots of awesome features. Lets check it below.
