Late last year, Beats Electronics unveiled the Beats Solo 2 Wireless on-ear headphones. It basically offers the same sound experience and design of its wired counterpart without having users tethered down to a limited range of movement because of cables.

The Beats Solo 2 Wireless can give you the freedom to move up to 30 feet away from your audio source. The headphones are a bit heavier than the wired Solo 2 due to the built-in rechargeable battery, which can provide up to 12 hours of wireless playback. But as an added convenience, the headphones can still be used in the traditional, wired mode when it runs out of charge. There’s no deterioration of sound quality when it’s in wired mode.

The design may seem to suggest that there are no remote controls included in the Beats Solo 2 Wireless, but the Beats’ “b” logo on the left can is actually the controller for adjusting the volume and playing, pausing and skipping tracks.

The Beats Solo 2 Wireless retails for Php18,500—a pricey amount that’s inherent in Beats products. It’s available in black, white, red, blue, gold, gray and silver. For more information, call local distributor MSI-ECS at 688-3180. You can also email them at marketing@msi-ecs.com.ph.
