Instagram Windows Phone

Windows Phone 8’s app horizon has just become a whole lot brighter as the wildly popular social photo taking/sharing app Instagram has finally landed onto the platform!

If you’ve been living under a rock, Instagram is is an online photo-sharing, video-sharing and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos, apply digital filters to them, and share them on a variety of social networking services, such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr. It’s such a hit on iOS and (eventually) Android with over 150 million users that it’s one of the “most requested” app to appear on the WP8 platform for quite a while now.

There have been some 3rd party alternatives (like the excellent 6tag) but nothing says “full support” like an official app. Granted, the app only has the core functionality for now (it can’t record videos yet), but the developers have promised that improvements are coming. Head over to the source for more info.
