Nokia Asha 202 Philippines Price, Specs, Features

Another cute little Asha arrives in the shores of the Philippines with the emergence of Nokia Asha 202. As the name suggests, it will be the cheapest among the new members of the Asha Family together with Nokia 305, 306, and 311. The first three were equipped with touch based user controls while the Asha 202 will come in as a touch and type mobile phone.

The Nokia Asha 202 will feature the basic phone needs which includes texting, calling, gaming, and internet surfing. It will also receive the Easy SWAP SIM feature of its older brother Nokia Asha 200. There will be no Wi-Fi connectivity available for the handset but you don’t need to worry because it can use its GPRS/EDGE capabilities for mobile data usage. Thus, you will never miss out any status updates or tweets from your friends and loved ones.

Aside from those mentioned above, it will also be preloaded with some EA games such as Need for Speed, Tetris, and Bejeweled so you’ll get the entertainment to a higher level. All of it are part of the 60-day promotion at Nokia Store. Check out the official video from Nokia below.

    My friend purchased an Asha 202 last week. The touchscreen is not very responsive but other than that, its a good phone for only P3,500. ^_^
