Activision is pulling the plug on Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. The game will stop working on April 17, 2026, less than two years after its global launch.
The game has already been removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store and in-app purchases are disabled. Players who still have it installed can keep playing until the shutdown date. After that, the servers go dark for good.
Warzone Mobile brought popular maps like Verdansk to phones and let players share progress with console and PC versions. But the game had ongoing problems. It ran poorly on many devices, drained batteries fast, and caused overheating. Even flagship phones struggled at times. The high hardware requirements left out too many casual players. Matches also had too many bots, which hurt the real player experience.

In-game currency bought specifically in Warzone Mobile will not transfer to other Call of Duty games. Use it before April 17 or lose it. No refunds.
Skins, weapons, and XP that work with the main Warzone or Black Ops 6 games will stay available on those platforms if your account is linked. Items that were exclusive to Warzone Mobile will be gone. Guest accounts lose everything.
Activision is going back to focusing on Call of Duty: Mobile, which runs better on more devices and has a steady player base. The company wants Warzone Mobile players to switch to that version for battle royale on the go.
