O+ Notepad 4G 2.0 128GB - NoypiGeeks

O+ USA has announced another storage upgrade on one of their existing products.

O+ Notepad 4G with Intellipen is easily one of our favorite devices the company has every released. It has a small netbook-ish form factor which can reliably fit in bags so you can bring it anywhere you go. With the new Notepad 4G 2.0, not much has changed except the upgrade to a bigger storage.

One of the key features of the O+ Notepad 4G 2.0 is its sharp 10.1-inch Full HD touchscreen display that’s perfect for watching movies and web browsing. An Intel Atom quad-core processor powers the laptop with 4GB of RAM to help it in running heavier softwares and multitasking. Unlike traditional laptops, the O+ Notepad 4G 2.0 does not only support Wi-Fi, it also has 4G LTE capability with its bundled Smart Bro SIM. This means that wherever you are, even without Wi-Fi, you can access the internet.

Perhaps the only downside of the O+ Notepad 4G is its tiny 64GB of internal storage (as compared to O+ Convertible’s 500GB storage). There’s a quick and easy solution to this problem because you can plug in a 64-128GB microSD card to further expand it. However, that’s still not as good as having the storage built-in. The pressure-sensitive Intellipen is also here so artists, professionals, students, and kids can use it to draw or take notes.

UPDATE: Here’s our full review of the O+ Notepad 4G Intellipen! Or watch the video below.

O+ Notepad 4G 2.0 Specs

  • Windows 10
  • 10.1-inch display (1920×1200 WUXGA), ~224ppi
  • 1.4GHz quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor
  • Intel HD Graphics
  • 4GB RAM
  • 128GB internal storage, expandable via microSD
  • 2-megapixel front camera
  • 2-megapixel back camera
  • Wi-Fi
  • 4G LTE
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • IntelliPen stylus
  • 7500mAh battery

By upgrading the internal storage, O+ USA addresses the shortcomings of the laptop/tablet hybrid. It’s the most portable and powerful tablet/laptop device we have in the market today. And with this improvement, it only gets even better.

Unfortunately, the 2.0 will not be entirely replacing the original Notepad as it demands a ~Php2,000 premium over its predecessor. O+ Notepad 4G 2.0 is now available on all O+ stores, kiosks and dealers nationwide for Php18,395.

    1. Hello! We’re not sure if it can dual boot Android. But I advise you to take this matter cautiously because it can possibly brick your device.
