Cherry Mobile announced that its current entry-level offering, the Aqua S9, is upgradeable to Android 11.
Unlike your usual over-the-air (OTA) software upgrades, the Cherry Mobile Aqua S9 Android 11 update is only available to the company’s service centers. What’s more, units that are still under warranty can get the upgrade for free, but those who aren’t will have to pay a price of Php550.

The device initially came out in December 2020, so if you’re an early adopter, then you might have to pay the fee to upgrade. But if it’s still under warranty, all you have to do is bring a receipt or any proof of purchase to get it for free.
As per the Cherry Mobile Community Group on Facebook, it looks like an OTA version is actually being developed and is not stable yet for release. So if you really don’t want to pay, then wait for it to be stable instead.

Android 11 should bring a couple of improvements on your Aqua S9. It has UI improvements, screen recording, a dedicated conversation section on the notifications tab, and more.
