Samsung has introduced the new Galaxy M36 with barely any upgrade over its already decent predecessor.

The new Samsung Galaxy M36 features an Exynos 1380 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Keeping the lights on is the usual 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging.

A 6.7-inch AMOLED screen is on the front with a high 120Hz refresh rate and sturdy Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.

There’s a 13-megapixel selfie camera on the display, while the updated camera island design has a sharp 50-megapixel main camera, joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.

It ships with Android 15-based One UI 7, and Samsung has pledged six Android upgrades.

AI features like Google Gemini Live and AI Select are here. Samsung is also bragging about its sleek 7.7mm thickness, which is 15% slimmer than its predecessor.

The Samsung Galaxy M36 has a starting price of INR22,999 (~Php15,100) with a special introductory price of INR16,499 (~Php10,800) for a limited time. It will be available in India starting July 12.
