Bandai Namco has officially released a new free-to-play Dragon Ball game for mobile devices, consoles, and PC. The game is called “Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra” and is a 4 versus 4 real-time strategy game.

The game is now available to download at no cost on iOS, Android, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.

Players can choose from a roster of 22 characters. The game launched with 17 heroes, and today’s release adds five new fighters to the lineup. Check the new characters below.

  • Android 17: A fighter who can protect allies with barriers and has limitless energy.
  • Hit: A hitman who can use an ability called “Fear of Death” to disorient and blindside enemies.
  • Super Saiyan Kale (Berserk): A berserker character who wreaks havoc on the front lines.
  • Gamma 1 & Gamma 2: A pair of heroes that alternate; Gamma 1 is good for large brawls, while Gamma 2 is better in small skirmishes. They use a “Special Pose” to team up.

The goal is to work with a team of three other players to defeat enemy players and complete objectives. Characters can grow stronger during each match, unlock new skills, and take down both other players and boss characters.

A key feature of the game is full cross play on all platforms. This means friends can team up together no matter what device they are using, whether it’s a phone, a console, or a PC.
