Meet Xiaomi’s best smartphone, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max.
The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is similar to the Xiaomi 17 Pro, only bigger. It now has a 6.9-inch main display, versus the latter’s 6.3-inch. It still has a 2.5K resolution with 3,500-nit peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The secondary screen on the back is also bigger at 2.9 inches.
Having a bigger build also allowed the Max model to have a larger battery. From the Pro’s 6,300mAh, the Max now enjoys a 7,500mAh capacity with the same 100W wired, 50W wireless, and 22.5W reverse wireless charging.
Everything else appears to be the same. We still have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 1TB of storage.
Both Xiaomi 17 Pro models also share the same cameras. We have the 50-megapixel Light Fusion 950L main sensor with f/1.67 Leica Summilux Lens and optical image stabilization.
There’s also a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 50-megapixel lens for selfies.
The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max has a price of CNY5,999 (~Php43,200) for the 12GB/512GB, CNY6,299 (~Php51,400) for the 16GB/512GB, and CNY6,999 (~Php57,100) for the 16GB/1TB. No word yet if it’s coming to the Philippines.
