A new indie game called “Relic Abyss” is coming soon. Developed by a small three-person studio in the Philippines called Reverse Loop, the game will first be available in early access on Steam this November.
The game is described by its creators as a “bullet heaven” roguelite. This means players face thousands of on-screen enemies and must survive the chaos. It features role-playing game elements and is designed to look like a 1990s anime. A free demo is available now on Steam, and its fast-paced action has drawn early comparisons to the popular game “Vampire Survivors.”
When the early access period begins, it will offer a substantial part of the full game. Players will get to experience three complete chapters and 15 different characters. The final version aims to have 20 characters in total.
The developers have big plans for the full release of Relic Abyss. They promise over 134 unique character skills, many items to collect and combine, and levels that are different every time you play. The game will also include six distinct environments and an original soundtrack with more than 30 songs by composer Buch Dacanay.
In other exciting news, the Filipino studio has partnered with Spanish publisher Mameshiba Games. This deal ensures that “Relic Abyss” will not only come to PC, but also to all major consoles. This includes PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
Players can try the game starting November 26, 2025. An official launch is planned for 2026.
