HUAWEI Philippines has introduced the new Watch GT 6 series. Let’s focus on the vanilla HUAWEI Watch GT 6.
The HUAWEI Watch GT 6 comes in 41mm and 46mm models that cost Php2,000 apart. Apart from the his and hers design, the two differ in screen sizes and battery capacities.
For the 41mm, you’re getting a 1.31-inch screen, while the 46mm measures at 1.47-inch. Both use an AMOLED panel with a 466 x 466 pixel resolution and have a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
The bigger watch also enjoys a longer battery. The 46mm can last for up to 21 days of light usage or up to 12 days of typical use. The 41mm lasts for 14 days and 7 days, respectively.
We got sharp bezels for the 46mm with rounded timing bezels. It is available with a green woven strap, a black fluoroelastomer strap, and a grey composite leather strap.
The 41mm has pivoting loop lugs for better comfort. It comes with a purple fluoroelastomer strap, a white composite leather strap, and a gold Milanese strap. Both models have a digital crown for navigating the interface and have a stainless steel body.
For activity tracking, the watch comes with an upgraded HUAWEI Sunflower Positioning system that improves accuracy by 20% thanks to the enhanced GNSS algorithms and antenna. The watch is also compatible with heat-rate straps.
The watch also supports offline map downloads and can last for up to 40 hours in outdoor running mode, perfect for ultramarathoners. There are over 100 sports modes that include indoor workouts.
It also features a built-in Virtual Power Meter and trackable group rides where you can see the real-time stats and location of other cyclists.
Moreover, the watch has built-in microphones and a speaker for Bluetooth calls, wireless charging support, 5ATM and IP69-rated for durability, NFC, Bluetooth 6.0, dual-band GPS, and works for both Android (ver. 9.0 or later) and iOS (ver.13 or later).
The HUAWEI Watch GT 6 41mm has a starting price of Php13,999 in the Philippines and goes up depending on the size and strap.
