Canon Philippines’ latest camera is designed for real professionals working in the creative industry, or even for aspiring filmmakers. Check out the new EOS C50.

The Canon EOS C50 is part of the brand’s cinema camera line. It has a 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor with 34.2 megapixels and supports RF mount lenses. It can shoot up to 7K (6960×4640) 60p RAW videos or 32-megapixel still photos.

It can also do Open Gate video recording with the entire CMOS sensor, up to 120p slow-mo videos at 4K resolution, up to 16 stops of dynamic range for Super 35 format or 15+ for full-frame.

The camera records in Cinema RW Light, XF-AVC, XF-HEVC S, and XF-AVC S formats. Its Dual Pixel CMOS AF II offers ultra-fast autofocus across the whole frame.

Canon Log 2 and Log 3 are also here. You can pair the in-body 5-axis optical stabilizer with an IS-equipped lens for Coordinated Control that also adjusts the pitch and yaw of the lens. The built-in fan and intake and outlet vents keep things cool.

Plus, you can have granular controls with the plethora of buttons and dials, and two 3-pin XLR inputs and dedicated audio dials with the handle unit.
