The TECNO CAMON 50 series is now official. There’s the CAMON 50 Pro and this, the vanilla CAMON 50.
There are many similarities between the TECNO CAMON 50 and the CAMON 50 Pro. Both phones have the same MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Both phones also have 6,150mAh batteries, 45W charging, and IP68/69/69K-rated durability. They will come with Android 16-based HiOS 16 interface.
The duo also has 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED screens with a high 144Hz refresh rate. But since it’s a cheaper model, it only has a flat display instead of a curved one.
Both come with a 50-megapixel LYT-700C camera with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, but the Pro will exclusively have a 50-megapixel telephoto lens.
They also share the same 32-megapixel selfie camera and under-display fingerprint scanner.
The TECNO CAMON 50 is now in Kenya for KES37,500 (~Php16,800). It will make its grand debut at MWC 2026 next month.
