realme’s latest budget phone boasts a big battery and a high refresh rate screen. Check out the realme C83 5G.
The realme C83 5G comes with a large 7,000mAh battery, which can last for up to 19 hours of streaming videos, 22 hours of chatting, and 68 hours of video calls. realme also claims it can retain a good battery health after 6 years.

Albeit, charging can be very slow as it only supports 15W adapters. It does have reverse charging, allowing you to use it like a powerbank. As per realme, it can provide up to 1.2x full charges on a phone or 12.5x for a pair of earbuds.
Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor, with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of, sadly, slow eMMC 5.1 storage. On the upside, there’s a microSD card slot so you can expand the storage up to 2TB.

We also have a roomy 6.8-inch IPS display, with an HD+ resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. A 5-megapixel selfie camera is on top of it, while the rear has the 13-megapixel main shooter.
It is also IP64 dust and splash-resistant, MIL-STD-810H-compliant, and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The realme C83 5G 4GB/64GB is available in India for INR13,499 (~Php8,700), the 4GB/128GB for INR14,499 (~Php9,300), while the 6GB/128GB comes in at INR17,499 (~Php11,300). It’s yet to be known if it’s coming to other markets.
