A new POCO C-series smartphone has been introduced for those who want a no-compromise smartphone at a budget price. Check out the POCO C85x.
The POCO C85x is powered by the trusty MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor, with only 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of expandable storage.
With the RAM capacity as an indication, don’t be surprised that the C85x only has HD+ resolution. On the upside, the display is enormous at 6.9 inches and has a high 120Hz refresh rate.
POCO claims you can expect more than 2 days of battery life on the C85x. That’s plausible, considering that it has a low-resolution screen and a very generous 6,300mAh battery.
However, you can also expect long charging times as it only supports 15W wired charging.
For photography, there’s a 32-megapixel main shooter on the back and an 8-megapixel on the front for selfies. It ships with Android 16-based HyperOS 3.
The POCO C85x is now listed in India and will go on sale on March 14. The 4GB/64GB retails for INR10,999 (~Php7,100), while the 4GB/128GB has a price of INR11,999 (~Php7,700).
