VinFast, the electric vehicle company, has signed deals with 14 scooter distributors in the Philippines. These partnerships are a big step for the company as it gets ready to launch its electric scooters in the country this June.
The list of partners have well known names in the local motorcycle business. Some of them are Auto Ten Trade & Services, BLC Cycle Parts Supply, HGC Main Marketing (Motorboy), and HG Motorzone. Others include Ciclo Suerte, Moto Atelier, Motorpro by Abenson Ventures and Aserco, Keymotors Incorporated, and Eduhome Enterprise. The remaining partners are FMN Industrial Corp., Motoxpress Sales Corporation, Superbikes Corporation, Gentrade International (Transcycle), and Wheeltek Motor Sales Corporation.
The plan is to open showrooms in busy areas where people are ready to switch to electric vehicles. These include Bulacan, Metro Cebu, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Metro Davao, and Metro Manila. All stores will follow VinFast’s own design and service rules.

At first, the dealers will sell VinFast scooters with batteries that can be swapped out. The lineup includes the Viper, Feliz II, Evo, and a few more models that will be announced later. VinFast said it will also adjust future models to match local roads and how Filipinos usually ride.
The Philippines is one of the biggest markets for two wheelers in Southeast Asia. Cities are growing fast, and many people need affordable ways to get around. With fuel prices going up and down, more riders are looking at electric options. VinFast thinks e-scooters can work well if there is good support behind them.
That is why the company is building a full system around its scooters. This includes sales, repairs, loans, and charging points. VinFast plans to put up about 30,000 battery swapping stations across the country in the near future. It will work with local partners to make sure riders can swap batteries easily.
