HUAWEI, the top seller of smartwatches and fitness bands in the Philippines, has released its newest wearable devices.
There are two versions available. One is called the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro, and the other is the standard HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5. Both are built to help people keep track of their physical activity and overall health.
The Pro model comes in Black, White, and Orange. The Orange version uses a special breathable strap for extra comfort. The White version has a ceramic-like finish that resists scratches.
The regular model comes in more color choices. Buyers can pick from Black, White, Purple, Green (only online), and Silver. The Silver version comes with NFC technology.
The Pro version includes several medical-grade health features. It has a tool that studies diabetes risk without needing needles. It also has a certified ECG function to check heart activity, plus a feature that looks for irregular pulse waves.
Other health tools on both watches include better sleep tracking, mood and stress monitoring, and a cycle tracker for women.
For people who love the outdoors, the Pro model supports trail running and freediving down to 40 meters. It also has golf features that cover more than 17,000 courses around the world.
Both watches support over 100 different sports modes. They also work with racket sports apps like PickleX, Tennix, and Goodshot. A new feature called “mini-workout” offers short guided stretching sessions.
The battery can last up to 10 days on a full charge. The watches work with both iPhones and Android phones.
Local users will be happy to know the watches support GCash WatchPay for payments and Angkas for ride-hailing. Other apps like FiiT and Life Period Tracker can be downloaded through AppGallery after a software update. The watches also connect with Komoot, allowing users to sync biking and running routes.
