Sony has released the new WH-1000X The ColleXion edition to celebrate the headphone’s 10th anniversary.
The Sony 1000X The ColleXion is currently the best entry to the whole series. It inherits many of the tech already found on the WH-1000XM6, but with tons of improvements and, of course, a more premium build quality.

It uses synthetic leather material that’s a throwback to its ancestor, the MDR-1000X. It also boasts deeper and wider ear pads, a larger and wider headband for better comfort, and new stainless steel yokes that rotate and extend.
Sadly, it no longer folds and only swivels. On the upside, Sony has designed a new case that has an integrated handle.

For the actual features, The ColleXion edition has 30mm drivers with new soft-edge drivers for better bass and noise cancellation. It was also co-tuned with engineers from Sterling Sound, Coast Mastering, and Battery Studios.
It supports 360 Upmix and spatial audio profiles. The AI-powered DSEE Ultimate audio upscaling is also here.

There are 12 microphones for both voice pickup during calls and adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC) with the QN3 Noise Cancelling Processor from the XM6. It also gets a V4 processor for sound processing and for better ANC performance.
The battery it last for up to 24 hours with ANC on or 32 hours with ANC off.

The Sony WH-1000X has an SRP of Php36,999. It’s available for pre-order until June 21, 2026 with a Php5,000 down payment.
