The next game in the classic Ragnarok Online series is taking a fresh approach to how players level up and enjoy new content.
Game publisher JoyMaker and developer Gravity Game Vision recently shared big news about Ragnarok Online 3 (RO3). The game will use a seasonal system. This means players can start a new story chapter each season without having to redo all their hard work leveling up.
The team listened to what players said during earlier tests. One common request was for more control over the game screen, so the developers made the interface adjustable. You can now resize things freely and move the chat window anywhere you like. This helps players set up the screen just the way they want.

Every season will offer a new story starting point. There will also be new boss fights and special dungeons tied to that season’s tale. If you take a break and come back later, you can jump right into the new story without playing through old content first.
This seasonal setup also fixes a problem many longtime MMORPG players mentioned during offline tests. That problem is called stat inflation, where older dungeons become too easy or too broken because player numbers keep growing forever.
With seasons resetting regularly, the developers can focus on making fights more about skill and teamwork. In tough end-game battles, your group will need to learn how each boss behaves and find the right strategy to win.
The producer said technical Ragnarok Online 3 testing will first happen in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. After that, global testing will roll out to more regions over time.
