Samsung’s new midrange smartphone, the Galaxy A27 5G, is now in the Philippines.
The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, with up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of expandable storage. Made to be future-proof, it will receive 6 years of software updates — pretty impressive for the price.

On the front, there’s a large 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a high 120Hz refresh rate.
In a world where 6,000mAh batteries become the norm, its 5,000mAh feels lacking. The 25W charger, too.

There are three cameras in the back. It is led by the 50-megapixel main shooter with optical image stabilization, joined by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. A 12-megapixel selfie-snapper is on the front.
Like many Galaxy phones, you have an option between Google Gemini and Perplexity as your AI assistant. Bixby is still here, as well as other AI features like Object Eraser and Voice Transcription.

The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G 6GB/128GB has an SRP of Php18,990, while the 8GB/256GB retails for Php21,990. It will be available starting July 10.
