The most useful thing in Simplus’ 5th-anniversary announcement isn’t just a celebrity or a slogan: it’s the warranty for its products.
Starting this July, every Simplus product sold in the Philippines ships with at least one year of free replacement coverage: no service center runaround, just a simple swap. For a small-appliance category where young, first-time renters have historically been stuck choosing between unbranded cheap units and big-ticket names they can’t afford, that policy quietly repositions Simplus as a reliable option worth considering.

The warranty is the spine of the brand’s “Live Young with Simplus” campaign, fronted by Filipino ambassador Donny Pangilinan. Pangilinan’s pitch is aimed at twenty-somethings furnishing their first place, the demographic Simplus says it’s been building around since launching in Thailand in 2021. The company claims to have reached more than 18 million households across Southeast Asia under its “Live Young, Live Beautiful” slogan.

The campaign’s marketing layer is familiar: a booth at Circus Music Festival 8 in Pasig with retail partner Automatic Centre, plus a curated product experience where TikTok creators filmed Simplus appliances inside real kitchen, personal care, and home-living setups. A social contest rounds it out, with Filipinos posting a “Live Young” moment with a Simplus product can win a Fifth Anniversary Gift Package, a coffee maker, or a vacuum cleaner.
Aside from the 1-year replacement warranty coverage, Simplus is pairing the anniversary with a school supplies donation drive run through the National Book Store Foundation, Inc., with classroom materials headed to a public school in Taguig City before the school year opens.
