Rockstar Games faced major backlash after it decided not to offer its highly anticipated game, Grand Theft Auto VI, on a physical disc. Instead, the game will be primarily available for digital release.
But for those who still want a tangible copy of GTA VI, this code-in-a-box is the closest you can get, which is now available for pre-order in markets like the Philippines.

The code-in-a-box will come in a packaging similar to your traditional PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S game. But instead of having a physical disc inside, you’d only get a download code.
You can then input the code and start pre-loading the game on November 12, 2026, before it is officially available for playing on November 19, 2026.
Retailers noted that the purchased game will have an SIA Asia region lock and will only be available for PlayStation accounts registered in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia.
Popular game store Data Blitz will accept pre-orders for the GTA VI Standard Edition with a Php500 down payment, with the SRP yet to be unveiled.
Game One PH has also started pre-orders for the game and estimates that the SRP will be Php4,990-Php5,290.
