After teasing it for months, Filipino automaker Francisco Motors finally launched its first electric vehicle, the Elektron SUV.
The Elektron SUV will be available in three variants. The cheapest one is called the Basic model, which comes with a range of over 400 kilometers with its 54.9kWh lithium iron phosphate battery.

There’s the Fashion variant that has a range of over 500 kilometers with its 63.2kWh battery, and finally, there’s the top-of-the-line Deluxe variant with an 81.5kWh battery, as well as dual electric motors and all-wheel drive.
The Deluxe’s motors can provide 340 kilowatts of power and 640Nm of torque, propelling you from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.3 seconds and achieving a top speed of 180km/h.

Meanwhile, the Basic and Fashion variants rely on a single electric motor that can do 0-100km/h in 7.7 seconds with a top speed of 160km/h.
In terms of size, the crossover SUV has dimensions of 4,640mm x 1,870mm x 1,655mm, with a wheelbase of 2,760mm, and a cargo space of 450L.

The cabin features a large touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, rotary controller, and can seat up to five passengers.
Depending on the model, you can get the Elektron with a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, wireless charging, USB-C ports, and a power-adjustable driver seat with memory function, and both ventilation and heating. You also get it with either 4 or 10 speakers.

It comes with tons of driver-assistance technologies, a 360-degree camera setup, and even AI features within its DOMENG digital ecosystem.
The Elektron SUV has an SRP of Php1.947 million. You can get yours by joining their Founder Orbit exclusive reservation program for 1,947 eligible customers. No, those two numbers being identical is not a coincidence, as it pays tribute to Francisco Motors’ founding year, 1947.
