Insta360 has unveiled the 2026 refresh to its flagship 360-degree camera, the Insta360 X6.
The Insta360 X6 now has bigger sensors. It has two 1/1.1-inch square sensors from Sony, boasting a 33% larger sensor area than the X5.
That is paired with a 3.3GHz 4nm octa-core processor, paired with two dedicated imaging processors. Insta360 boasts that the new chipset offers 5x more computer power than the X5.
This chip, paired with new ambient light sensors, helps cut flicker and improve photos taken at night. There’s also the AdaptiveTone 2.0 meters each lens on its own and captures two exposures per frame for improved dynamic range.
What’s more, it is said to be the first 360 camera to have native Dolby Vision support. It also has 10-bit color and more than 1.07 billion recordable colors.
The camera also boasts up to 8K/50fps video recording, giving you the flexibility to frame the shot better in post. InstaFrame 2.0 is also here, which can track people, pets, or objects across all cameras so they stay in frame for a flat 4K video recording.
On single-lens mode, you can shoot up to 5K.60fps, with a wide-angle FoV of 170 degrees. 4K/120fps is also here for slow-motion shots. You also get gesture control, Voice Control 2.0, and even Full Screen Press so you can start recording even without looking or with gloves on.
Easily the most noticeable upgrade of the X6 is the design. It looks shorter and a little wider. It boasts a 2.32-inch OLED touchscreen with a 1200-nit peak brightness. It also feels more rugged as it’s waterproof up to 20 meters, or up to 60 meters with the Invisible Dive Case Pro.
Insta360 also boasts its updated Replaceable Lens 2.0 with improved scratch resistance, an upgraded four-microphone system with Hidden Engine Mic for cleaner motorcycle sound.
It then uses a new 2600mAh Xtreme Battery, which can last for up to 140 minutes of 8K/30fps recording. Fast charging is also supported, with an 80% charge only taking about 24 minutes.
The Insta360 X6 is now available across the Philippines. The Standard Bundle has a price of Php45,390, while the Essential Bundle with a Utility Fast Charge Case, 114cm Invisible Selfie Stick, 2x Xtreme Batteries, and 1x Lens Cap can be yours for Php49,990.
