A new budget realme phone with a big battery is now official: the realme 16x.
The realme 16x comes with an enormous 7,000mAh battery, which realme claims can last for up to 12.3 hours of playing games, 19.1 hours of GPS navigation, and a whopping 156.3 hours when listening to music.
realme claims it can retain at least 80% of its battery health after 6 years. That big battery is paired with 45W wired charging, with bypass charging support to prevent overheating when playing games while charging.
6.5W reverse charging is also here to power other smartphones and accessories.
There’s an equally large 6.81-inch IPS display with a high 144Hz refresh rate, 1,200-nit peak brightness, but only an HD+ resolution. An 8-megapixel selfie camera is on top, while the rear has the 50-megapixel main shooter and a Pulse Light with 9 colors and 5 glowing modes that lights up when you receive notifications, play music, during camera countdown, and more.
Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB of storage. It ships with Android 16-based realme UI 7.0 and will receive 2 OS upgrades and 3 years of security patches.
The realme 16x has a starting price of INR25,999 (~Php16,700) in India and is available in 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 6GB/256GB configurations.
