The Redmi Note 17 series finally debuted on the global stage. For this one, let’s focus on the Redmi Note 17 Pro.
Compared to the Chinese version, the Redmi Note 17 Pro global has a smaller 8,340mAh battery from 9,000mAh. But it’s still a substantial upgrade over the Note 15 Pro’s 6,580mAh.
The global version also comes with an added 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a sharper 16-megapixel selfie snapper.
Everything else is the same. It is still powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor, with up to 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of internal storage.
A large 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen is on the front, with a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Audio comes from the stereo speakers.
The device is IP68/IP69K dust- and water-resistant and ships with Android 16-based HyperOS 3.
Launched alongside the Note 17 Pro Max, the Redmi Note 17 Pro should launch in the Philippines very soon, so stay tuned for that.
