Dyson is recently making a business out of over-engineered household appliances. Now, the company has decided to enter the oral care category with the Dyson CameraJet.

The Dyson CameraJet is basically an over-engineered toothbrush. Notice that the word “toothbrush” is not in the name. That’s because it’s way more than that.

It has a 100k pixel macro lens camera. You can see what it’s seeing on your phone, and paired with Dyson’s Gap Optical Targeting AI algorithm, it can identify, track, and predict gaps between your teeth in real time.

Once a gap is detected, the built-in Conical Jet will burst mouthrinse into it. It’s like a toothbrush and mouthfloss in one. That mouthrinse is housed in the built-in anti-gravity tank, with a diaphragm pump and pressure chamber.

Of course, it’s still an electric toothbrush, with a dual-bristle brush head and variable sonic oscillation.

Since it’s a smart device, it has 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Use it on your phone by downloading the MyDyson app.
