Along with its first foldable phone and the latest iPhone Pros, Apple also unveiled the new Apple Watch Ultra 4.
Like the new Apple Watch Series 12, the new Apple Watch Ultra 4 gets an upgraded heart sensor that Apple boasts is the most accurate in the world. It measures your heart rate every 5 seconds, as well as the heart rate variability (HRV) 24x more than older models.
The constant sensor readings shouldn’t have drastic effects on the battery. In fact, the new Watch Ultra 4 has a much longer battery life thanks to silicone technology.
As per Apple, it can now last for up to 50 hours of normal use, which is 8 hours longer than its predecessor. Enter Low Power Made and can wear it for up to 84 hours.
The new watches also has a new feature called Readiness Score, giving you a rating form 0 to 10 for how ready you are to train again.
There’s also a new Longevity section in the Health app that shows your Health Age. It lets you know if you’re younger or older for your age using metrics like your VO2Max, HRV, sleep quality, and resting heart rate.
Audio Intelligence is a new suite of features that include Sound Recognition, which can alert users with hearing problems if there are sirens, doorbells, baby crying, alarms, and more ringing around them.
Live Rewind will help users recall what was just said in a conversation by playing a 15-second recap with a double press of the digital crown.
Siri Recap will then create summaries of conversations that users can review later to jog their memory. All these features require audio recording to the built-in microphones, which are then end-to-end encrypted.
The Apple Watch Ultra 4 has an SRP of Php59,990 for the, about Php5,000 more than its predecessor. It comes in Alpine Loop, Trail Loop, Ocean Band, with the Titanium Milanese Loop costing Php65,990.
