vivo has unveiled the X500 series, which is now led by the vivo X500 Pro Max.
The vivo X500 Pro Max, together with the X500 Pro, boasts a custom 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA L910 sensor that was co-developed by vivo. It has ZEISS T* coating, a bright f/1.57 aperture, and a 17 EV dynamic range. You also get 3-degree gimbal optical image stabilization.
There’s also the 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP0 periscope telephoto camera with CIPA 7.0 stabilization, 50-megapixel ISOCELL JN5 ultra-wide shooter, and supports the new 400mm ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra.
It can shoot 4K@240fps videos for some cinematic slow-mo action, 8K@30fps, 10-bit video with 422 encoding, and support for ACES color.
As for the rest of the hardware, both X500 Pro models are the first to use the 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset that has 2x Arm C2 Ultra cores, 3x C2 Pro, and 3x C2 Pro with different speeds. It offers up to 17% faster performance and up to 61% more power efficient.
Keeping the lights on is a large 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, paired with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. It ships with Android 17-based OriginOS 7. There’s a large 6.85-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED screen on the front with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate.
The vivo X500 Pro Max has a starting price of CNY6,999 (~Php65,400) for the 12GB/256GB model, with the top-tier variant with 16GB/1TB available for CNY12,999 (~Php121,400).
