HONOR’s latest midrange phone, the HONOR X9e Pro, pushes the boundaries in battery and display tech on smartphones.
The HONOR X9e Pro boasts a large 11,000mAh battery, while maintaining a thin profile at 8.1mm thanks to silicon-carbon. HONOR claims that it can last for up to 35 hours of watching short videos, 66 hours of regular videos, and 165 hours of listening to music.
Its battery is so large you can use it like a power bank with its 27W reverse wired charging. The device itself charges at 80W speeds.
Plus, HONOR says the battery can stay healthy even after 6 years.
It then has a peak brightness of a whopping, industry-leading 10,000 nits. That only works when watching HDR content, of course, and was only measured from an isolated spot. It is available on the large 6.8-inch LTPS AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
As for the rest of the hardware, it’s got a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor, 8GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, and will still ship with Android 16 OS with MagicOS 10 on top. A sharp 108-megapixel camera is on the back, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.
The HONOR X9e Pro is now listed in Malaysia for MYR1,899 (~Php29,100) for the 8GB/256GB model, while the 8GB/512GB comes in at MYR2,399 (~Php36,700). We’re excited to see it here in the Philippines, whenever that day comes.
