Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab S12+ is now official.
Like its bigger brother, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, with 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and an option between WiFi-only and 5G variants.
It has a smaller 12.6-inch display than the Tab S12 Ultra, but uses the same Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1600-nit peak brightness.
This also means that the Plus has a smaller, but still respectable, 10,600mAh battery. What’s disappointing is that both models only have 45W charging.
For the cameras, there’s a 13-megapixel main shooter on the back, while the front has a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. No secondary rear shooter like the Ultra.
It ships with the latest Android 17-based One UI 9 software, and will receive 7 OS upgrades and security patches. The device is also IP68 dust- and water-resistant, supports an S Pen stylus, WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth 6.0.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ 12GB/256GB/WiFi has a price of Php76,590, while the 12GB/256GB/5G comes in at Php85,590.
You can pre-order it until October 20, and purchase it online starting the 21st, and in physical stores on the 28th. For a limited time, you can get it with a free Book Cover Keyboard Slim, S Pen, 45W charger, and subscriptions to Microsoft 365, Google AI Pro, and Adobe Photoshop.
