Apple just held an event highlighting its first smart home device, the Apple HomeView, as well as the new 2026 Apple TV 4K.
The new Apple TV 4K 4th Gen is powered by the Apple A19 chipset, the same chip used on the iPhone 17. Compared to the A15 chip found on the 2022 model, this one boasts a 50% CPU performance bump and has a 2x faster GPU. The storage was also doubled to 128GB.
Having a powerful chip means you can now play games from Apple Arcade. You can also make video calls using the Continuity Camera on your iPhone, follow workouts with Apple Fitness+, and more.
You can pair the new Apple TV with up to four HomePod Mini or AirPods with Spatial Audio. IT also supports Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, HDR, HDR10+, and HLG.
The Apple TV remote is the same, but gains a very important feature: support for Find My with Precision Finding.
Of course, it’s got Apple Intelligence and Siri AI, made possible by the three far-field microphones. Gigabit Ethernet is now a standard. Plus, it’s best paired with the new Apple HomeView.
The Apple TV 4K 4th Gen is now listed on Apple Philippines’ website for Php21,990.
