Xiaomi Philippines’ latest budget 5G phone, the Redmi 17 5G, has been launched.
The Redmi 17 5G arrived alongside the 4G-only model. Both are almost exactly the same, only this time, it is powered by a 5G-equipped Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor, with the same 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 2TB.
Everything else is almost the same between the two. Both have a large 6.9-inch HD+ IPS display, with up to a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
An 8-megapixel selfie camera is on the top, while the rear has the 50-megapixel main shooter and the RGB Dynamic Light for notifications, charging, and more.
Another highlight is the 7,500mAh battery, which Redmi claims can last for up to 10 hours of video recording, 28 hours of watching videos, and 109 hours of music playback.
It is paired with 45W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. It ships with Android 16-based HyperOS 3 interface.
The Redmi 17 5G has an SRP of Php14,999. From October 23 to 31, you can get it for only Php13,999.
